North Mason Regional Fire Authority Strategic Plan
The North Mason Regional Fire Authority formed on January 1st, 2014 with voter approval of the NMRFA. An essential part of the service plan directed the Authority’s Board of Fire Commissioners to develop a strategic plan for the new Authority. In September 2014 the Fire Authority began a nearly yearlong planning process to help guide the future direction of the Authority. The process included soliciting input from individuals and groups inside the Authority’s membership in addition to community members. The plan was presented to the Board of Fire Commissioners earlier this summer for their review and additional input. The Board of Fire Commissioners formally adopted the plan in October 2015.
The adopted Strategic Plan establishes a sound mission and vision for the Authority. It also provides a five-year road map, complete with goals and objectives for guiding the Authority towards continued excellence in providing emergency services. The Authority is currently in the process of implementing the action steps necessary to carry out the goals and objectives of the plan. The Authority is extremely proud to present this plan to the organization and the community.
