Job Posting: Community Outreach Coordinator

Location: Station 81 – Tahuya, WA
Organization: North Mason Regional Fire Authority

The North Mason Regional Fire Authority is seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team in Tahuya. This position is vital in enhancing community safety and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize and coordinate first response efforts and emergency preparedness initiatives within Tahuya and its surrounding areas.
  • Serve as a liaison and communication facilitator between the Tahuya community and the Fire Authority.
  • Work independently and efficiently, demonstrating strong initiative and problem-solving skills without the need for constant supervision.

Qualifications:

  • Background and experience in the emergency service community.
  • Strong organizational, training, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to foster community engagement and collaboration.

Important Note: This role includes first response and first responder requirements but is NOT a Firefighter/EMT position.
