Are you ready to make a real difference in your community? The North Mason Regional Fire Authority (NMRFA) is seeking a Peer Support Specialist (Certified) to join our expanding Mobile Integrated Health Program, serving the southern and central areas of Mason County.

This grant-funded position (through 2026) offers a unique opportunity to use your lived experience to help others overcome challenges, build resilience, and connect with care and community resources. Working alongside firefighters, EMTs, and healthcare providers, you’ll help support individuals in their homes, reduce preventable 911 calls, and improve overall quality of life.

At NMRFA, we’re proud to be the first and only 911 emergency service system in Washington State providing this level of innovative, community-based care directly where people need it most.

Are you looking for a way to make a genuine difference in the lives of others? The Mason County Fire Chiefs Association is currently recruiting caring, compassionate individuals to join our Volunteer Fire Chaplain Program.

Fire Chaplains play a vital role in our community by supporting residents during some of their most challenging moments. Whether assisting families displaced by fire, providing emotional and spiritual comfort after a traumatic event, or helping connect individuals with community resources, our Chaplains stand ready to serve with empathy, respect, and professionalism.

Fire Chaplains may assist with:

  • Offering emotional and spiritual support during emergencies
  • Providing comfort and reassurance to displaced or grieving families
  • Assisting with notifications to family members or personal pastors
  • Connecting individuals with supportive services and local agencies
  • Provide support and assistance for Mason County Emergency Responders
