In August 2019, North Mason Regional Fire Authority’s Board of Fire Commissioners authorized the formation of a Steering Committee aimed at developing a replacement to its expiring Strategic Plan. The Steering Committee met on a regular basis for nearly a year to develop the plan, seeking input from all Fire Authority stakeholders including each of the three operating shifts, the Board of Fire Commissioners, Fire Authority volunteers and Community Response Team (CRT) members. The Board of Fire Commissioners formally adopted the 2022-2026 Strategic Plan in September 2021, establishing its implementation as formal Authority policy.

The adopted Strategic Plan reaffirms the mission and vision for the Fire Authority. It also provides a five-year road map, complete with goals and objectives to guide the Fire Authority in continued excellence in providing emergency services. The Fire Authority is extremely proud to present this plan to the organization and to the community.
